2014 Bridge Foundation Scholarship Recipient

Four years of high school have given me a number of skills that I will carry with me through college. During my time at Rocky River High School, I have been extensively involved in the theatre program, Speech and Debate team, National Honor Society chapter, and Science Olympiad team. In the community, I’ve volunteered at the local public library and Discovery Place.

My more academic interests include engineering, astrophysics and astronomy, and entrepreneurship. I will be attending North Carolina State University’s College of Engineering in the fall. I plan to utilize many of the internship, cooperative education, and research programs offered by NC State. After I earn my undergraduate degree, I’d like to work for NASA, attend graduate school, and start my own business.

The Bridge Foundation’s support will allow me to enrich my collegiate experience and remove much of the stress from paying for my education. Without debt from my undergraduate studies, I know I will be able to positively represent the Bridge Foundation and impact the world through engineering.
